The Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA) is the professional trade association for all lawyers licensed to practice law in Hawaii. Founded in 1899 and incorporated in 1985, HSBA's mission is "to unite and inspire Hawaii's lawyers to promote justice, serve the public, and improve the legal profession." With over 8,000 members worldwide, HSBA is involved in various aspects of community, business, government and nonprofit sectors. Volunteer attorneys contribute thousands of pro bono hours annually.
